BENTON COUNTY SHERIFF

THURSDAY

STOLEN CAR n 3:46 a.m., 4800 block Elliott Circle. A 1996 red Toyota Tacoma was reported missing and likely stolen. The keys were left in the pickup.

TUESDAY

DUII n 3:06 a.m., 3000 block Northwest Walnut Boulevard. A 23-year-old Corvallis male was cited for driving under the influence of intoxicants and three counts of reckless endangering after being pulled over for a moving violation. His blood-alcohol content was 0.11 percent.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE n 7:13 a.m., a 25-year-old male was arrested for fourth-degree assault after police investigated a domestic violence complaint at 950 N.W. Hobart Ave. No. 2.

WEDNESDAY

ASSAULT n 12:40 a.m., 1600 block Northwest Maple Avenue. A 21-year-old male said he was assaulted by two men, one of whom hit him with a baseball bat. The suspects pulled up in a car and got out near the victim, who was walking near his house. A third and fourth male got out of the car and watched the altercation. The victim had redness, swelling and bruising on his face and abrasions near his hip and elbow. He told them he threatened one of the men with a hammer about a year ago, and believed it was a retaliatory attack. The victim said he was hit twice in the ribs with a baseball bat, but did not have any injuries near his ribs. He refused to cooperate with police.

DUII n 2:18 a.m., 800 block Southwest Western Boulevard. A 21-year-old Corvallis man was cited for driving under the influence of intoxicants and three counts of reckless endangering. He was pulled over for a moving violation, and his blood-alcohol content was 0.18 percent.

RAPE n Reported 1:34 p.m. Police said the incident was under investigation and that no further information was available.
